Dirt Bombs

Something about the name of this recipe appealed to me.  Dirt Bombs.  Maybe because I'm from the dirty South?  I don't know.  

Well, I made them a couple of days ago, and the recipe is good enough to be added to my keepers pile.  I followed the recipe without any changes.  They are on the dry side, but that made them perfect for serving with coffee or milk.
