Dulce de Leche

When I visited Argentina, dulce de leche was offered at every meal. I can't blame them for being so obsessed. What's not to love about creamy, rich caramel?

After a failed attempt with a previous recipe, I tried something different last night. Victory! This morning, it was the perfect complement to my toast, apple, and eggs. Super simple, too!

Just pour a can of sweetened condensed milk into a canning jar (or any glass jar). Screw the lid on tightly, place in slow cooker, and completely cover with water. I had to lay mine on it's side because my slow cooker is small. It worked out just fine. Cook on low for about 9 hours. That's it.
