Happy (Day Before) Thanksgiving!

In Spontaneous Happiness By Andrew Weil, MD he recommends keeping a thankfulness journal.  Each day you think of five things for which you are thankful and write them down.  Studies show that thankfulness and happiness go hand in hand.  I have noticed that my thankfulness journal really does increase my happiness.  It is fun to have a daily task that makes me focus on things that are positive and good.  Throughout the day my journal entries pop into my mind and help me to power through tough times.  Keeping a journal is not for everyone, but hopefully you can find a comfortable way to cultivate thankfulness.
