Food for Thought

If you have been paying close attention, you may have noticed that I burned out quickly on my resolutions from 2011, but I am pleased to report that I have been reading more than I did before the resolution to read one book per month. Ultimately, as long as I am making progress I am pleased.

My most recent read was In Defense of Food By Pollan, Michael.  You have probably heard of this book before, it's a former New York Times bestseller. I would recommend it to anyone who tries to be a thoughtful eater.  Mr. Pollan's writing is informative and easy to read. Even though there are moments where you worry that you might have poisoned yourself with processed food, it's certainly not as abrasive as Food Inc (intense, but worth watching).

Now, what to have for dinner?
