I have a question...

I have another question from my Table Topics (see this post for my previous question).  This question really makes me think.  I am a little ashamed to say that I am pretty sure that I would chose the junk food over the extra five years.  I am not 100% on this decision, and I am really glad that I don't actually have to chose one of these two fates.  Hopefully I can have an extra five years AND junk food.  Maybe?

Before you decide consider what it would be like to never have another (Georgetown) cupcake...

Or, to never have another bite of apple crumb pie (from Kramer Books)...

Would you stop eating all junk food to live 5 years longer?

  1. Hmm, I don't think so. Though I rarely eat junk food, I still feel the urge to go and grab something from McD or so every once in a while :)

  2. This is so bad of me...but I totally agree with you. I could never give up junk food. I buy a vanilla milkshake from McDonalds every day without fail and I've always got a stash of chocolate on me! Those cupcakes look beautiful- I could never give up cupcakes! x x x

  3. I think it's not how long you live, it's how good you lived. I must confess I eat junk food sometimes.

  4. I don't know! Such a difficult question..
I love your blog so much, therefore I want to pass my Stylish Blogger Award down to you..

  5. I love that question. I agree that it's not about the quantity of years you live, but the quality of them. Although I would NEVER eat fast food, I do love my occasional chocolate croissant or piece of dark chocolate. Food makes us happy and we shouldn't give that up!

  6. No way!!!! I'd take the junk over the 5 years in a heartbeat.
(I think we got this from Papa? ...who I also blame for the horrible teeth...hmmmm, connection?)
You've convinced me to try macaroons, if only I could find them somewhere here!
    Hope you are doing well!
